Hi all,
does anyone make the welded bolts, with round and very flat head, that is fitted to the brackets for engine bay mounted fan & bonnet hinges.

Just an idea, but it might be feasible to get a normal bolt/setscrew's head machined down in a lathe ?

I think they're called 'weld studs' or 'weld screws' or 'projection weld studs'.
You can get them from suppliers like this but you probably need to order 50,000!

Or there is elevator bolts or if you want to nit pick set screws

That's what I did. I could have bought ones that were close, but as Lakeland997 pointed out, the quantity was outa this world.Andrew1967 wrote:Jens,

I reckon M-Machine will do them, I bought some reconditioned mk1/2 bonnet hinges a year or so ago from them for my project. They had just spot welded the new studs your after into old hinges.
