I Like that. Reminds me of a picture of a Mini collection that had me drooling in the 90's. Lovely

That's right Rich, bought it a few months ago and very happy with it. Haven't had much opportunity to use it yet though.

Hi, these two are mine, the Mk1 is actually a 1960 car that has been "Cooperised". It has 7.5" discs, twin tanks, 120mph speedo, 2x 1.5" SU's 1.5 rockers, rimflow valves, Kent 276 cam, lightened flywheel, c/r gearbox, etc. I tend to use for club events and occasionally around town. The Mk2 is a UK manufactured shell, May/June from glass dates and is currently parked up in the garage awaiting surgery (rust removal) followed by a rebuild and repaint. At the moment I'm trying to decide which rims to put on, I have several choices, Cosmic (Mk2), original 4.5" rims, 5" minilites or buy something else. My intial thoughts were the Cosmics and group 2 flares to go with a "black and white" colour scheme. I have been collecting parts for the last 3-4 years so that when I start I will have most pieces on hand when the work commences.

And yes I know it has an Austin grille and Morris badges, the car is registered as an Austin and I have Austin badges ready to be fitted but I have to fill the holes left by the Morris bonnet badge first.

Madmatt somehow I missed your post. What a fabulous collection of cars you have! I love the 1071 S, the splitwindow Kombi, the wide wheeled racer, the Marcos, the Traveller...

Finally I have managed to get a website up of our cars. It is still a work in progress and I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions for improvements. The idea is to build up the cars history over time on the site (rather than have it stuck in a crate somewhere in storage, as is currently the case). For now it is mostly pics of the cars. BE WARNED the site is picture intensive (some high res) so can be slow depending on your internet connection. And yes, they are mostly projects...

Pm or email me suggestions to gpmini@gmail.com

Enjoy, Leon
