Mini collection

Post by gpmini »

Pad4's dilemma post reminded me that I've wanted to ask for a while now - if you have two or more Minis, what Minis do you have in your collection? Don't forget the pics!

My collection consists of a mk1 cooper, mk2 cooper 's' , 1986 mini pickup and a 1979 mini van.
I intend to hillclimb the mk1 after a much needed resto in 1000cc form.

The mk2 just needs resto and will keep it standard.
The pickup needs a respray only. This has only ever had sills replaced
And the van needs a cut and polish, rear doors aligned and thats it.

A 1986 pickup?, Is that a typo?
I understood the commercials finished in the early '80's?

Haha. Yeah. Get that response often. It was late registered in '86. I am the only registered keeper from new.

Here you get an impression of my daily dilemma. Particularly as on this photo just half of my fleet is visible.

Luckily my little son helps me every morning. He chooses by color in which Mini he wants to be dropped at school.
Mini Flotte02s.jpg
First is an original Cooper S from 67, modified with 60th accessories, currently added with Cooper Car Co lining on both sides including CCC rosette.
Second is my 84' HLE, which I modified to W&P replica about 20 years ago.
Third is my daily driver the yellow Traveller. Its an 76' IMA imported from Portugal.
Last is my 998 Cooper from 67. Its a matching number car in many details.

What a dilemma to have! Fab collection doc. Please could you post a recent pic of the white car with the CCC lining, I'm thinking of a similar treatment for my Mk2. Don't forget to post pics of the rest of the collection.

A few of my favorite pics below.
850 - 2 x 1962 prototype Mokes
998 - surfblue 1964 Cooper
1071 - Dove grey '63 and Almond green '64
1098 - 1968 Ant, 1974 Aussie Moke
1275 - 5 x Mk1 Cooper S, 2 x Mk2 Cooper S

Mostly projects I'm afraid, and alas no utilities..., and the red Mini below isn't mine, it belongs to another Mocsa member
