Another bracket issue...

Post by nunecos »

Hi all,

After solving the problem with the placement of the slinging brackets (thanks for all the contributions) I have an issue with the carpet brackets...
I consulted some books (Parnell and others) and I can´t figure out the placement of all the brackets (just four until now). Could you give me a help please??

I just know where to put two on each side of the sill, near the door. However, as I still don't have the carpet, I have no clue to put the others.

Thanks in advance for all the answers

Nuno

Depending on whether you have replaced the inner sill / floor section & what or who's panels you have used there should be little bumps right in the corner between the floor & the inner sill. These are the bumps that the carpet studs mount on.

The red arrows indicate the bumps I am on about, picture ripped off the M-Machine site.
