Oh this is fun :-)

There are some excellent guesses & some are not that far off the mark, I'm not saying which though.

Just one little clue to keep you thinking, it's a car that has been discussed on the MK1 forum previously.

I'm picking it up later this week & may post a pic then.

Chris, your detective work makes Clouseau look plausable  I hope to god you're not really a rozzer !

Interesting guesses, keep 'em coming. In fact if/when someone guesses the car I'm gonna throw a prize in. :D

VPR 470?
You can't have too many cars. Just too little space...

Well there's a few cars I recon it could be and I think mark has a soft spot for a certain tuning company.. But I'm not sure which one it will be! As I don't have a clue which/where or who owns them! Does the reg have. 5 and a 9 in it? I don't want to give it away though as this is fun

Andreas,

You have sussed me out.

I only started this thread to find out if there were any interesting Minis available to buy

And as everyone on here should know, if its not green with a star on the bonnet I'm not interested at the moment.

I could of course be lying.

Well, if there is a prize at stake......

What was the green cooper someone found in a garage in a slightly run down condition? It had restals, but beyond that I can't recal the details

I'm assuming it's not a works car, but possibly a coachbuilt?

Course, it could be marigold the Downton van?

Do I get a prize for the most suggestions?

You bloody tease Mark! Every time I see one of those green things I hear in my head, " That suicide is painless, It brings on many changes, And I can take or leave it if I please. And then "hawkeye" appears ;)

Oh hang on, I just saw :
