Well after this summers grumbling about Minis & the silly prices that they are now achieving I have just bought myself a new project. It's more money than I have ever spent on a Min before but is something quite interesting & different.
Can't say any more at the mo, but as they say, watch this space.

Ha ! So much for keeping it quiet !
Yes it is steel , quite a significant car , the real deal and shows that interesting finds are still out there.

Sorry to leave you in suspenders Tom but I'll leave it to Mark to reveal all as and when.

Pete very kindly put me onto it.
The deal is done, I have paid my deposit & will be collecting it later this week.
It is as Pete says, a genuinely interesting car with a steel body & will make a very nice winter project ready for the 50th aniversary of the Cooper next summer.
Other than that my lips are sealed at the moment.

I have a sneeking suspicion that I can gues what it is........ I shall put my guess in a sealed envelope, to be revealed when Mark owns up to what it is
If I'm right, I'm VERY jealous!
