Mk2 door switches

Post by morris-miner »

Could some one please tell me what the correct interior light door switches should be for my MK2?

Many thanks.

The small round domed type, with the pin out the middle.

Would some one be so kind as to post a photograph, as I seem to remember that Mini ones are shorter than other BMC models!

Kind regards once more.

I have been searching the Bay of E and can find two different styles.
One held in with sprung tags and the other with a pear shaped base held in with a small screw. Which one is correct for a 1968 MK2?

Here's hoping.

The "sprung tags" type is the one you require, going by both my late 68 cars.

They normally have Linread on them. The wiring connector being at 90 degrees to the switch body is the important bit for a Mini.
