Reading that Ebay will now have to notify HMRC of a Private Sellers sales if their total is more than £1k per annum .. Rip off Britain yet again.
But to be fair if Selling as a Business they should be paying Tax .. or am i wrong ?

As I understand it, the £1K threshold is if you are buying and selling for profit....if its just a personal possession that you are selling the threshold is higher, £6K

https://www.gov.uk/capital-gains-tax-pe ... ossessions

So looks like best place to sell is on here or FB market place...

That's an excellent pair of Innos. The red one even looks like it has the factory exhaust still. The Green one is a great evocation of the BL Trophy cars, not surprised to see the Whights sticker in the rear window, Tim and co are well known for quality work in Inno circles.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

The red one is a really early Export, still has the pre-export gas pedal and should also have a remote gearbox.
Despite its red colour I'd prefer this to the green one.
Really outstanding quality, except the wrong floor panel swages, from the cheap repair panels visible on the green one.

N.B.: They are ruining market prices with that sort of bargain prices

TBH the price is what swung it for me when I got my Inno. Fully restored with original shell and really nice features on the Export for lot less than a UK car...and nice having something a little different, and a good following in Europe too.
The Innocenti owners are really on the ball when it comes to original parts etc, and with the shells being stamped at the factory there is very little in the way of people swapping reg details onto later shells.

You can hardly blame the seller really if his cars have been for sale for a while and aren’t selling, which the green one has for a while.

I wonder if its because they are LH drive, I have fancied getting an Inno for a while, but I would convert it to RH drive

Would the price be higher if they were being sold in a LH drive country ?

It was partly meant, tonque in cheek. I personally don't mind a price drop. For me the classic cars should be something to enjoy and not an asset for people with lotsa money an no passion for the subject. Sadly this makes restorations less attractive because prices for spares and labour have made a diametral incline to the declining market prices. That is basically the essence of what I tried to express.

I doubt so, there are too less collectors nowadays, who are still prepared to pay serious money for a Mini. Sadly this trend has yet not reached the conciousness of sellers. Asking prices of some car ads I have been observing for a while are still inappropriate, so to speak...

Both lovely, engine bay looks tidier on the green one. Was the green a factory colour?

This is probably (as far as I can tell from a photo) "Verde Chiaro"

It is £11,500. Which does seem a little more realistic ;) :)
