But to be fair if Selling as a Business they should be paying Tax .. or am i wrong ?
You can hardly blame the seller really if his cars have been for sale for a while and aren’t selling, which the green one has for a while.
It was partly meant, tonque in cheek. I personally don't mind a price drop. For me the classic cars should be something to enjoy and not an asset for people with lotsa money an no passion for the subject. Sadly this makes restorations less attractive because prices for spares and labour have made a diametral incline to the declining market prices. That is basically the essence of what I tried to express.
I doubt so, there are too less collectors nowadays, who are still prepared to pay serious money for a Mini. Sadly this trend has yet not reached the conciousness of sellers. Asking prices of some car ads I have been observing for a while are still inappropriate, so to speak...
Both lovely, engine bay looks tidier on the green one. Was the green a factory colour?MiNiKiN wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 10:15 pm The red one is a really early Export, still has the pre-export gas pedal and should also have a remote gearbox.
Despite its red colour I'd prefer this to the green one.
Really outstanding quality, except the wrong floor panel swages, from the cheap repair panels visible on the green one.
N.B.: They are ruining market prices with that sort of bargain prices![]()
