Anyone know what model / cars / year this is from?
I assume it's from an inline engine... but thats all I got..

External seal? We see them out here in Aus too, can change the seal without removing the cover!

The flat flange timing covers were fitted to minis up to early '64, it was fitted with a curved stiffener and oval washers [not shown]. The cover was then changed to the ribbed flange type.

Got them off early morris minor A series engines.
