Anyone know what model / cars / year this is from?

I assume it's from an inline engine... but thats all I got..

External seal? We see them out here in Aus too, can change the seal without removing the cover! :P

The flat flange timing covers were fitted to minis up to early '64, it was fitted with a curved stiffener and oval washers [not shown]. The cover was then changed to the ribbed flange type.

I've got 3 of these covers

Got them off early morris minor A series engines.
