Interesting, potential to be made 4wd, modify it as you like, DVLA have nothing to compare it against

It`s clearly a MK4 shell
I had a L reg 73 clubman and the tunnel looked just like that. I think the clubman changed to rod change in late 72.
The tower bolt is definitely a wrong 'un. Think they were twin bolt subframes until about 76.

Agreed……didn’t the square tunnel come in around 74….and the rubber mounted subframe ( single bolt ) around 76. And when did the drip rail disappear ??

Square tunnel doesnt equal single bolt subframe
Square tunnel cars were on twin bolt subframes first
With the single bolt rubber mounted subframe coming along around 76
so you can have a square tunnel mk3

But obviously as mentioned if it has single bolt frame it is a mk4
The best repairs go un-noticed

That GT looks a beauty, and reasonable too, pending a closer look.

The Bridlington mk2 S has been for sale ages, but think he's 'missed the boat' with that price.....!

so you can have a square tunnel mk3

The rod change gearbox and the square tunnel arrived in late 1972.

That is all I said.

"1960 Austin Se7en van... earliest Mini van in existence... built one week after the first van was supplied... restored from scratch."
Which would all be a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Except the description (unwisely) goes on...

"Rebuilt to the [rebuilder's] own preference... the ribbed roof was chosen... also the later bulkhead and single-bolt subframe".

Oh dear. One of those.

Yep that’s clearly a later van not the van described is it, makes you wonder what happened to the 1960 van?
