Just be aware the original Cooper S rings were a true imperial sized ring. If the Pistons were replaced at some point in time, AE went to a Metric sized (thickness) ring

Grant and Hastings are able to offer either. I've found them to be a good quality ring set with the proper 3 piece Oil Control Ring.

Thanks for the replies, still deciding if its to be new rings or a rebore. If its a rebore which pistons would suit a road use only Cooper S ?

I used a firm called FW Thornton who supplied Hepolite nos rings for my standard sized 341 pistons. Block sleeved back using Westwood cylinder liners.
