Look I've found green, purest green (well purple in this case!) a pre-production internal hinge mk1 cooper!

Although you can see external hinges on the N/S door and the O/S looks like an external hinge door from the inside, can't quite make out if the front corner is rounded or not.. Also solid mounted front subby. Not sure what went on in the tunnel area though.

Its a MK I shell alright, but they fitted wrong floor/tunnel and front end.

looks like an external hinge to me... rounded front corner... door is just held on with cling film so it would seem... only thing thats odd is the rod change floor pan, but it stil has the hold for the magic wand... odd!

I think it even has the extra tunnel for the injection tube's going from and back under the floor?
They really had the wrong floor on this one.
The magic hole is easilly cut in by hand.

I think it has been established, but this is a Mk1 shell with complete spi/mpi floor and rod change tunnel. The toe board is original and has the magic wand cut out as it should, Coopers just had a cover over this hole. Putting the correct gearbox in this car will require a certain level of fabrication! Also there are no brackets for the brake, fuel or hydro lines and no battery cable channel.

Heritage MPI full floor pan into a mk1 shell, you can even see where the floor pan overlaps the magic wand opening. That heritage floor almost looks hand hammered in the tunnel area, the right side of the tunnel is very wavy.
