I key fits all?

Post by richardACS »

My question with a 1965 Mini - did it have 1 FS key to fit door, boot and ignition or was the ignition a seperate key? thanks in advance?

Thank you - have managed to read the boot and door locks and hopefully then the original ignition barrel is in the car and might be the same....

Apart from that, your Key may also work on other Cars.

I remember at the IMM 2007 in Roskilde, my Car was always parked in an other space at the Hotel as whe had fun parking each other's Car away...

If you find you have a mish-mash there, a decent Locksmith can easily sort them to be keyed the same.

It's really easy to key-alike at home as well with these locks. Should take no more than 10 mins once you have the lock barrels on your work bench. I can post up an instruction if people want it.

Cheers, Paul.
