Re: Light flywheel and pressure plate
I’d go with one of the MED ones. Stage of tune will determine which would suit you best.
I have one of these in a fast road 1330

Re: Light flywheel and pressure plate
If it's for the road you can't beat the Minispares one for value.
Personally, I wouldn't use an ultralight on the road.

Make sure you get the correct type for your starter.

Re: Light flywheel and pressure plate
Avoid MED engineering!
Worst spares ever, worst customer service
I would go for a SH, swiftune or KAD
I had two MED flywheel,
Twice bad machined, not flat etc..
I just ordered a KAD, a masterpiece

The SH one as nice as it is(I’ve had one in my hands) is less than ideal for a road car.

Re: Light flywheel and pressure plate
The later OEM pre verto flywheels with the huge center are just plain heavy. Machine shop lightening and balancing with current wait times and cost makes new reasonable. Of course with a complete new assembly I balance every engine. I have used all of the different lighter flywheels MSC offers as well as the back plates. I have also used the Verto light steel A+ ones.
One thing I learned ( I'm sure everyone else knew ) the ring gear for the verto flywheels are the thin ring gear for pre engaged starters used with light flywheels. Steve (CTR)
