I’m sure it’s a simple, obvious answer, but I’ve got a bit confused and feel slightly stupid even having to ask !
On a NEGATIVE earth car, running standard points distributor set up, which terminal on the coil should have the 12 v ( ignition switched ) feed, + or - ?

Feed from ignition switch goes to coil + on negative earth

+ and the - goes to earth through the distributer to complete your circuit.

Thanks chaps
