I have spent years looking for a clean not cracked 163 casting with nice high seats. Someone spent a lot of time on this head. Bowls nice, guide bosses all but gone ports large enough to concern me at low end. I have a 940 head drilled for 11 and very mildly cleaned up. The old question what correct is most important? Maybe a milder cam would help bottom end and ports allow higher rpm power as well? I have been polishing these things since Sept. 1968 there are combos that really shine. Steve (CTR)

I have an SW8 in my South African 1071, when I finally get it on the road I'll report back but I'm hoping it will be nice and lively but still drivable.
