Hi Guys
I have a Smiths central speedo for a mini I hope in 160 km/h and the only markings on the face is M1200102 and RPKM800.
Which car is this from and is it correct for a mini?

Re: Smiths speedo identification
What warning lights are fitted into the Face ?
Are you able to post up a photo of it ?
It sounds like it might be a Moke Speedo as fitted around 1973 and 1974.

800 revolutions per km is correct for a mini with a 3.44 diff and 10” wheels.

Re: Smiths speedo identification
Cheers Philsa,
Yes, it is a Moke Speedo. They used them in the 'Export' models.
It will work OK in a Mini if you run a 3.44 diff and 7 / 16 Speedo drive gears. It will ever so slightly over-read - if it's accurate !
You could also run it with different diff ratios and change around the drive gears to get it close.
