Have you seen the Newton Commercial guide? Tried to attach a copy here but too large.
It's a PDF. Just search for Newton Commercial door card fitting guide.

The Newton ones may need a little trimming I gather - just in case it is those you are fitting?

Re: All together now....'DOOR CARDS!'
Last Summer i spent time taking Newton a pair of my OE Doors to them so they could check their Door Card patterns .. Newton intention were to modify their own Patterns following complaints of oversize .. sometime later Newton send me a test Door Card asking would i fit it.. then comment .. this new size Newton test Door Card fitted all ok without any issues that was until i tried to remove it ..then its a case of some tear damage into the top area of the backing board however the Facia Trim on that re-size test door card was not damaged .. so just make sure there is no need to remove a new Newton Door Card once it is installed.
I later was sent my new brocade full trim kit .. fitted without any issues other than i did again downsize the rear cards backing board in the area of the ashtray to help with easy installation .
My opinion Newton are a company doing a proper job
