Hi,
what kind of needles I need for my twin carburetors? Is there a way to find ?
When I drive with my normal air house everything was ok, now I have put K&N filters kone on and he drive ok but not so good as before.
My engine is a 998cc on my Austin Cooper 1967
I have a electronic ignition (http://www.csi-ignition.nl/en/home.html) on the engine
Cab anybody give a advice or must I go to a rollerbank
Kind regards
Wesley

Re: What kind of needle?
If the engine is standard, with just the K&N fittes, try a pair of E3 needles with Blue springs (std are red).

Hi,
thx for replay
Yes the engine is standard, original Cooper with the twin HS2.
No there is GX needle in (original in)
I didn't know there are different colours in springs, now I know
The exhaust is a RC40

Vizard's book is a good starting point. Once you've a rough idea of which needle to start with, this handy lookup is good for comparing needles. And if you are having trouble sleeping!
