Exhaust Valve for 12G295

Post by Fanfaniracing »

Looking for an Exhaust Valve for my 12G295 Head.

Is the C-AEG106 an adequate option?

http://minispares.com/product/Classic/E ... o%20search

In the description they say for 12G940 Head, but will it also work for a Small Bore Cooper Head?

I allready have 29.5mm Valves in this Head, but need replace those...

Many thanks

Fabian

These valves are of the longer variety at 3.57 inch, the small bore ones are 3.44 inch. If you use a mix of the two lengths you will have problems getting the rocker geometry right.

Okay!

So i allready have inlet valves of 91mm so that's approximately 3.57 inch.

I guess the new exhaust valves work with the new valves

Don't forget, you'll have to pack up the valve springs to get the spring pressure's right........
