There looks like there is plenty of metal here, as i assume its same as block already factory drilled for petrol pump
Any one done this or got any tips please, really dont want to turn the block into an anchor

Never had a problem when we did it....we were using breathers on that fuel pump area as far back as I remember....however, as previously stated...run the exit pipe upwards....we used a 'T' and connected the valve cover pipe to the T then, a larger hose from the T to the catch tank. Just a personal preference....running separate pipes may be better overall.Exminiman wrote:Cheers, do you know of any issues with drilling my own hole in the boss?
I just wondered, in case block thickness at this point was varied, depending on intention to prepare foe pump or not ....
My assumption is not.....but just in case
Thanks, for suggestion, but this is an inlineAndyPen wrote:Just in case (excuse the pun), could a transfer gear housing breather work for you?
Ours had one fitted way before they did it from the factory, just a threaded tube ??
Cheers for that Mark, helps with the routing.mk1 wrote:That is my breather hole of choice. As has already been said, make sure the pipe goes straight up. I make a steel one similar to this.
