i gather 707 stuff is quite rare
ive been painting a flywheel housing ive had for a while and i have knoticed it has 707 stamped in it up on the breather boss, im quite suprised i didnt knotice it when blasting it but hey. its been drilled and looks pretty nice.
could it be a works one? i dont think it is a mag one as its a 22G1921 and its not mowog its DIEKAST.. i just assumed its a metro one, i doubt its owt special but it made me wonder
any info?

707 was the part number prefix used by the Experimental Engine Dept in Coventry. These were usually cast in not stamped in. Maybe someone in th past received a set of stamps for christmas
