Couldn't agree more.

On the wheel topic, just to illustrate, I am not "Anti" JB Wheels at all. I recently bought a set of their Speedwell replicas & was very pleased. They look how I want & will go round and round just fine.

I wouldn't choose to put them a a particularly highly performing car though. they were surprisingly heavy & I don't like the way that they use tapered nuts similar to standard ones. I never like seeing that on Alloy wheels.
Good to hear that about the Speedwell replicas,I am planning on buying a set for my MKI and had wondered about the quality. It will not be a fire breathing monster so they should be fit for purpose.Agree on the taper nuts on alloys as well, not a fan.
Why the big downer on tapered seats on alloy wheels?
All the major car manufacturers have been doing just that for the last 30+years.
