inner wing holes ??

O/S inner wing on a 66 Cooper . Should the larger lower 2 holes be there ?? . I take it the upper ones are for the servo fixing on a S

the early snail heater used to bolt in them in the early days maybe they thought not worth modifying the tooling or they had already had amass of them pressed up

My '75 pick up inner wing with the holes - presume they never bothered to update the inner wing pressing for external hinged cars, although a few extra holes are there (solenoid mounting etc) :?

I think the top larger holes are closer to the top of the inner wing as well ?
