Radiator
Hi. Can anyone describe what an early '65 998 radiator looks like, or better still post a photo. I've ended up with 4, all different and all mk1 I think, but have forgotten which is the right one what with flat tops, round tops, drain taps, brass, plugs, Coventry this and that etc. Cheers

Isn't that the Cooper one? Would also have the letter C stamped into the vertical section of the frame.BLT wrote:I think it's the Coventry flat top with 16 gills and a drain tap?
I thought the originals were 13 fins per inch, with a drain tap.

According to Parnell's book, 16 gill introduced late '64 and rounder top mid '65. The fan was 16 blade standard and 6 blade for hot climates.
