A40 clutch master cylinder

Post by Andrew1967 »

Does anyone know if a 4223-071 Lockheed clutch master cylinder will fit a Mini ?

Same canister etc but not sure on orientation of tin. Presume push rod is different.

Cheers

Andrew, I am not sure about A40 hydraulics but I will attempt an answer. The bore is 0.75" like the Mini, the orientation is correct but the pushrod is shorter.
I am happy to be corrected.

I have a Mini clutch m/c in my A40. Seems to do the trick...

Thanks Tom,

I read on the A40 forum that they use Mini ones in the absence of the correct A40 cylinder

Cheers
