I've also owned several Mini Mokes (including a light-weight, Cooper S - engined racer ) a van and numerous Mini sedans over the years. My first car was this 1971 Cooper S which I purchased in 1973 and still own. It was rebodied into a '64 Cooper shell almost 20 years ago to become a Group Nb historic racer, but it's still registered for road use.
... and if you'll allow a slight indulgence - whilst keeping within the BMC family, there's a Bugeye Sprite sharing garage space with the Mini-brigade as well

My very long term project 1071 S is almond / oew. Slowly coming together and wanted it ready for Blyton this year but just got the engine back from the builder in the same state I gave it to him over 2 years ago!
One day it will resemble yours, complete with rose petals too.

Family and work mean I get very little spare time. Managed to strip the motor last night and it's off to the machine shop this week for inspection and whatever it needs. Just need to convince someone to put it back together!
