Hi all,
I managed to get my hands on a Halda Speedpilot Mk IV. I'm a complete noob to these and was considering selling it on, but I started reading up and am wondering what T-gears are used to fit these to a Mini? The unit came with a "gearbox" screwed onto the back of it that says 7.5:1 on it. It also came with a T-gear that has V14 and 8:1 on it. I assume one needs a short length of cable to connect between the speedo and the T to remove it slightly back from the tight area in the binnacle right behind the speedo?
Basically I'd like to know which T gears and cables people use to fit these to a Mini.
Thanks for any advice

Re: Halda T gears
Real halda bits look very pricey... How ever speedy cables seem to be able to make up junction boxes and cables with different ends. That's my plan for when I get it installed..
I've got a 69 Mini with a 1046, Cooper Head and a four on the floor.
