Hello All,
I am looking for help in finding the correct and original material for the
Hydrolastic Sleeve Protectors, part # 21A1582
Most of the usual parts suppliers do not list this part !
What material are you finding is as close as possible to the original factory
installation? The photos I have seen on this site show it as a green foam
material that is wrapped around the hydrolastic pipe at five points on each side.
Thanks,
Jim

As I recall it's just a plastic sleeving a bit like Spriro-wrap only wider.

I'd agree with Spider, it is a green plastic sleeving, cut spirally and wrapped round.
I'd have thought green water tubing would do the job just fine.

I did order the 21A1582 from Somerford. What I received was very thin BLACK "shrink wrap" like tubing. I was hoping for the green wrap material that I have seen in photos the original cars.
I'll keep looking locally for a green pipe wrap.

Just to be clear.
Was the original factory part made of PLASTIC tubing or a FOAM wrap material
