Re: Magazine reviews of Blyton
Picked up a copy of the French Mini Magazine 'Maxi Austin' (Le Magazine Des Anciennes Mini) while on holiday in SW France today and it has a 6-page review with many photos of the Blyton Mk1 Action Day. July issue No.30 (see cover below)......the newsagent had 3 copies on the shelf, almost as many as the 2CV enthusiast mags!
Maxi Austin magazine website:
http://maxiaustin.com/MaxiAustin/Bienvenue.html
Maxi Austin mag facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/maxiaustin
I will scan and share some of the Blyton pages when I get back if of any interest?

MAB, You never cease to amaze me
Wherever there is something Mini related to be had, you are there.
It would be great if you could do a scan of the Blyton article so I can add it to the Blyton page I am constructing.

I think I also amazed my wife when I stepped out of a small French newsagents shop clutching a Mini magazine......mk1 wrote:MAB, You never cease to amaze me

Mark, I will gladly scan the Blyton article for your Blyton page when I return this weekend.

Re: Magazine reviews of Blyton
Just a quick tip for scanning a printed article or photos.
If you turn on 'Gaussian Blur' in your scanners settings/filters. It will get rid of the pattern that appears on the image and they should look exactly like the original.

Re: Magazine reviews of Blyton
Also scanning them at 300dpi & then reducing this to 150 dpi does the same trick.
