Cooper Car Co Replica

Post by rolesyboy »

Hi, building a Mk2 Cooper and quite fancy building a replica Cooper Car Co bottle green white roof affair. Where can I get decent colour pics of one and has anybody any spec sheets by chance? Cheers. Mark

The '68 Autocar feature pretty much says it all about the cars, funnily enough it was reproduced in last month's MCR mag. I've plenty of actual photos, I'll sort you some out. There's quite a few CCC replicas been done as you know, even more Britax lookalikes, virtually no Abingdon racers that I can recall though and I don't think I've ever seen an Arden replica (which would look ace ;) )

Jim Whitehouse bought an ex Abingdon MK2 and ran it for Gordon Spice in 1970.

You can see flashes of the car in this film from 8.28 :
