Hi, Got a '67 Mk1 that was exported to Germany when new so has a locking steering column. I want to remove the lock barrel and put the ignition in the switch panel. Anybody removed the lock barrel on one of these?

Use a centre punch and drift the two shear bolts out.They are right hand thread so drift anti clock wise.
