I have a few NOS front and rear windowseals I'de like to use.... however due to long time storage the rubber has sort of a wax-coating on it... ?
Anyone here know a good method for cleaning these?
Anyone know why they get so 'waxed in' ? (Does the rubber exhaust something over time?)

ive just 'reconned' a couple of old seals with a bit of wire wool and some thinners.
not sure if its the right way to do it, but it cleaned them up a treat
please note, these are my own, individual sales, nothing whatsoever to do with my employer, minispares

Most rubber parts are waxed from the factory this stops the rubber oxidising in storage. I don't remove the wax on parts like this, I just leave it to get worn off naturally.
