Hey Chaps
its me again:)Im converting from magic Wand to remote in a mk1 body:)? just wondered if anyone has a template for the gear box tunnel gear lever hole? so need to cut the new hole etc:)

Also i need a template for the holes for the badges for the bonnet and boot for austin cooper s?

any help would be great:)

I did the same thing last year. Rough fit the housing in place. Mark the center of where the stick runs through the floor from underneath Drill a pilot hole. Cut out a larger hole ie 2" Rough fit the housing back in place to see where the shifter actually lines up. Might be slightly off. Then use the gaiter retaining ring as your template, centering it visually on the shifter center lines.

Worked well for me. Took about an 90 minutes
