I'm stuck. I'm trying to get my imported 1978 Leyland Mini 1000 registered in Norway, and they demand a COC-document for the car. I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to come up with one. I've asked people here what they did, but it seems that practise is varied and they haven't been asked for it elsewhere. If you have a 90s Audi you can get it from the make agent/importer, but not many Leyland guys around.
Thing is, I'm not getting anywhere without one, and may have thrown cash out the window...
Anyone who can help point me in a general direction? Google doesn't come up with anything meaningful...
COC documents for a 78 anyone?

Re: COC documents for a 78 anyone?
I did find this
http://www.eurococ.eu/files/Image/scany ... ty_COC.jpg
here
http://www.eurococ.eu/en/certificate_of_conformity
http://www.eurococ.eu/en/
€199 seems like a rip off, but considering other Scandinavian prices it's about in line.
Edit:
Interesting if one reads the fine print
"Certificates of Conformity have been defined in EU’s Single Internal Market and Type Approval Directive (EC-92). EU’s single internal market became official on 1 January 1993."
That is AFTER 1978
One wouldn't expect a car from 78 to have one.
"Vehicles without the EU specification (e.g. vehicle manufactured for the U.S. or Japanese market) and older vehicles that have not been given the type approval of the EC yet, do not have an existing COC."
Tell the folks in Norway that their bureaucratic style is a bit too stiff and that they should brush up on their own rules. (same problem here)
