Lucas 700 Spot and Fog light bulbs

Post by big-un1967 »

Yes I know Bulbs grow in a garden, and Lamps are the correct term!

However, has anyone had any recent experience with up-rating the original 60's style lucas 700 spot/fog light to a more modern bulb? If so, any ideas of who sells a more modern bulb that wont look like a damp morning when they are fully switched on?

I know the Cibie route is much better, but quite the correct period I require.

Thanks

Paul..............
