Hello Swifty,

Yes I was selling the head. I've still got it. Email me for details. Cheers,

Collected the manx 7 port head and 45s today . Looks a nice peice of kit . it will be sitting on a 1460 bottom end , paul ivy crank , arrow rods , kad flywheel , paddle clutch . kad 5 speed dogbox , lsd . omega pistons , 3 into 1 maniflow rc40 . Havnt made me mind up on cam choice but will probably go for the good old 649 . Has anyone got any experiance of these heads . Will be interesting to see what power it produces. To be honest im not going for all out power , more a strong torquey engine . Any thought on cam choice ?

how are the inlet tracts arranged. Is the std siamized inlet port internally split with a wall as per Colin Chapman's 750MC Lotus or something else?

yes they are internally split in the inlet manifolds witch in turn slots into the head.

With that spec, won't an RC40 be a little on the wee side?

the bulkhead will need a chop to get it in. manx did a version of this head that would fit with no mods, but it was more of a down draft thing and is fairly rare, i think that only a couple where made for mervyn johnson.
please note, these are my own, individual sales, nothing whatsoever to do with my employer, minispares
