Identify a S blocks age?

okay without the proper tag is there a way to identify the age of a 1275 aeg312 thin flange block? I know on Lotus/ford blocks there is a date stamp, is there anything on bmc motors? thanks

I can make out 4872 on the center main cap. Has strange raised letters behind where the gen/alt and next to the dip stick oil hole. Different as it a much more crude cast compared to my other 1275 S block.

What are the ID codes stamped on the caps and the block ?
Should be on the block buy the waterpump or the flat area on the back where the petrol pump is on a non cooper s block
