Swapping Speedo Pod / binnacle

New owner, sorry if a stupid question!

On my 67 RHD Austin Mini it has the white single pod.

I of course want to add in an oil psi gauge and water temp. The previous owner added a sunpro 3 gauge panel under the switches, ugly as hell!

The cleanest/simplest option to me looks to be the black pod from a later mini.

my car looks to have the nutplates to attach it, is it as simple as it seems?

ideas?

If you are going to use the later binnacle in the picture it really is just as easy as it looks.
