Hi this is Ted from Hong Kong. A bit far geographically, but I always feel close to you guys as I check the Forum everyday. A member of this forum since the very 1st generation. Not post a lot, mainly read and learnt from you experts. Also made a few friends here from around the world. Working hard with Alfred, my friend, another member here, to maintain the small but strong MK1 scene in HK!

First hook up to Mini after read a UK mag called Performance Car(remember that?) with a feature about a fast Mini. 1st one is a Mini Sport 5-speed Flame Red, do they still sell 5 speed box??? Then play around them for 17 years, and the passion never diminished. Now main interests are 60s ones. Use to own a couple of 1.3i with air-con but sold.

Now own a 64 Morris Mini Minor, a 68 MK2 Cooper(repairing), a MK3 Cooper S(originally from UK and guess Simon776 may help me for some information on it), a 90 Cooper S conversion(air-coned!) and a 68 Aussie Mini Convertible for summer fun! Also, keep a Lancia Integrale and a E30 325 those are cars when I first interested in anything automobile. Next wish will be a proper MK1 Cooper or S, or before that, come to UK for some Mini events and meet you guys! Latest enjoyment is riding the MK1 with iphone playing the Beatles!
