Hi All,
Any suggestions how I tighten the heater/chocke cables and switches on my freshly painted switch panel without scratching it?
Cheers

Re: Switch panel fitting
Small parts (like the switch panel) can be baked to harden the paint. I use an old toaster oven....bake at 200F for about 20 minutes. Really cures the paint and makes it much more durable and resistant to scratching.

Also take a minute to look at the surfaces facing the paint.
Remove and burrs and break sharp edges.
This can reduce the likelihood of the switches or cables 'picking up' the paint.
