Door trim rivets
Hi, looking to fit my trims soon. I've seen the rivets available from the usual suppliers but seems to remember a forum member selling some more accurate versions. Any pointers appreciated

Re: Door trim rivets
Just for reference I seem to remember it has been mentioned that the Minispares reproduction trims use a different rivet size to the original door trims?

Just a small heads up on installing the upper trim.5portsrock wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 10:49 am Hi, looking to fit my trims soon. I've seen the rivets available from the usual suppliers but seems to remember a forum member selling some more accurate versions. Any pointers appreciated
Make sure the leading edge of the vertical trim is smoothed off. They can be sharp and score the paint when you slide them down over the rivets. I always put a small piece of insulating tape around the leading edge of the trim...just as an extra precaution.
