My 60's mini was making some noises when driving around and I have been able to fix them in the past months. The thing is there is a persisting noise on the back of the mining for most part of the driving time, It has cones suspension so I don't know if the only way around it is to replace the cones or could be something more easy to fix.
Any comments apprieciated.

Welcome to the forum.
Noises are notoriously difficult to diagnose long distance, but I am sure you'll get a few suggestions.
To begin with, please can you try & describe the noise in question, a squeak, a grinding noise, maybe a knock. etc.
As much detail as possible would be very helpful.
Regards, M

Could be the exhaust mountings or the shock absorber mounting rubbers. Check by thumping the car wheel arches and bumper to replicate the noise.

I found a persistent clonking type noise to be worn-out knuckle joints and cups. The cups had pretty-well disintegrated leaving the balls to just bang about....... if you get my drift!

Good suggestions so far.....Another one for the list....(if it is a dry car) rubbers on top of the shocks. If it is that....of course it will be the LH side....behind the fuel tank.....
