Mk1 Forum at Beaulieu
I was talking to Tim Ward last weekend about Beaulieu. Are there any plans to try get a few members cars together again? Not sure what needs to be done but I don’t mind trying to organise something. If there’s interest of course.

Re: Mk1 Forum at Beaulieu
I think this year's Beaulieu event is one that will be forever be remembered following the sad passing of Robert Young who contributed so much to the annual show for so many years with his display of Ex-Works & Competition cars and the BMC Comps dept personalities who supported the show. RIP Robert.

Filled in a MCR display form for the Moke as apparently they are doing a Moke 60yr; thing this year .. dunno where my Moke will be parked as i think they have invited the Moke Club .. but you will recognise my Mk1 Moke as its Green
Experienced the wrath of Robert last year as i parked my late brothers car not "just so" aligned into his line up ..he got a strop & instructed Lesley to sort me out..
..happy memory. yes RIP Robert.

572 BCR has been invited to display on the Downton Motor Club stand so I will be taking her down for the first time. It promises to be interesting as she will be amongst those of the MCR who refused all assistance when it was cloned, for obvious reasons. I can already hear the patter of rivet counters feet.

As usual, it clashes with something else for me.
I think we will be too late to ask for a stand as Tim has done in previous years.
I hope everyone who goes has a splendid time.

It is always an enjoyable event - and relatively easy to get to for those of us in the Midlands and below.
I am looking forward to it

Re: Mk1 Forum at Beaulieu
How many cars do you have at the show? The vibes I'm getting are very good for a truly memorable show. Anyone going to Gaydon on 2nd June. Maybe still time to book a stand?
