self drive system for a car trailer Q

Post by Polarsilver »

Asking re Twin Axle Car Trailer with stand alone "Motor Mover "remote control for self drive of the not coupled up Car Trailer .. i adapted a Caravan Mover to fit my BJ Minomax (13 inch Wheel) double axle car trailer .. this system has worked well for many years with my Trailer unloaded with just enough umph to move Trailer with Car Loaded for coupling up to the tow bar .. now years on my BJ Trailer is still great BUT my suitable for a caravan drive motors are knackered.. so i need to find a replacement Twin Axle Car Trailer "Self Drive System" any ideas or suggestions?

I have a Motor Mover it replaced the jockey wheel or can be fitted in additional clamp, it's never failed to move anything so far. Bags of torque and a tractor tread type tyre.

Bought off eBay 🙂

I had a motormover fitted to the rear axle of my PRG covered trailer by Midland Motor Movers. They came to the house to fit it. Very good service.
