Yattendon Car Show 30th June

Post by snoopy64 »

Hi there

Yattendon car show is 30th June this year and no doubt will be as well attended as last year.

Classic car exhibitors get in free but general admission is now £5 per car.

Personally I'm glad to see an entrance fee this year.. the poor amount raised for charity last year (£3800) by the mclaren, Range Rover and general local wankpanzer driving community and more importantly the costs of running what is turning out to be a large event more than justifies
It.

I’ll calm down now and look forward to another great day!
Cheers

And its next door to a very reasonable Brewery with a tap room and restaurant…. ;)

I’ve been to the Yattendon Show the last couple of years and find it staggering that it only raised £3800 seeing the number of people there.
In my opinion £5 is a minimal amount for what is a great day out, and as Exminiman has said right next to a cracking Brewery.
😊

Two weeks for the weather here to improve!

The grass is cut! Now the volunteers have the huge task of getting everything ready, fingers crossed it stays dry…. Some entries still coming in apparently, it could be a whopper, let’s hope this great event doesn’t get too big to manage.

I’m borderline over excited I must confess!
