Looks like another ebay classic.

Heavily modified LL wheel made to fit a Mini boss.
The holes are that close to the edge if you hit a bump the whole thing is likely to fall to bits.
It just came off in my hand!

Why? It's not like the steering wheel will move in any direction as long as all the bolts are present??guru_1071 wrote:thats just dangerous

verg, there isnt a lot of metal left between the bolt holes and the boss hole, the alloy of the rim is thin and over time the metal will move a little, its doesnt take a lot before the holes start to grow, then the wheel will be off the boss.Vegard wrote:Why? this EXACT thing happened to someone in mighty minis, flat out they suddenly discovered that the wheel suggested that they had a little more lock than the rack did!
from memory, there was one single bolt still holding out of the set - the rest had pulled through

Some of the holes seem to be really close to the edge and seem likely to break, but these steering wheels have the the holes very close to the edge by design. Look at the steering wheel archive on the main site, you can see 3 of them almost like this one.
But this one looks dangerous.
