Ok... I dont know much about this stuff, My dads mk2 cooper now has a weber, so his twin HS2's are available... would these need new needles to go onto a 1275? (my 1300

)

Yeah... sounds like fun...
My plan was to get it setup at minisport anyhows.... as long as it will run with them, then thats ok!

Be careful. It will run as previously advised. All SU needles (of a particular family) are pretty much the same at idle.
However, if you're intending to drive it any distance to the shop I would be very wary. Knowing they came from a 998 one might expect them to run very lean in a 1275... you wouldn't want to hole a piston on the way.
Cheers, Ian

A non S 1275 should run ok with red (stock) springs and EB needles. According to DV.
